Dear ICOM ICMAH Members,

The ICOM International Committee for Museums and Collection of Archaeology and History (ICOM ICMAH) invites the committee members to apply for Board Members Elections for the 2025-2028 terms will be held in November 2025 during the General Assembly in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

The actual Board of ICMAH is constituted of 5 people, but during the General Assembly of ICMAH 2024, the actual board will propose a “New Internal Code” for voting, where the board will be composed of 7 members to distribute the necessary work. The Board of ICMAH is formed of;

• Chair
• Secretary
• Treasurer
• Regular Members (4)

Like all International Committees of ICOM, ICMAH’s Board is working on a volunteer basis and needs to be involved in the mission.

The candidates to the ICMAH Board Elections engage themselves, if they are elected, to participate effectively in the numerous tasks of the Board. The President is overall responsible and shares with the General Secretary the contacts with ICOM, the General Secretary organizes the Annual Meetings, Special Projects, workshops, publications, website, translations, social media and communication to and with the members, the Elections, the Year’s Administrative and Financial Reports with the Treasurer, etc.  The Board Members share all the tasks.
